Joelison is from Paraiba and is the world's third tallest man. He was born on 18 August 1985. The remarkable love shared by Joelison and Evem has continued to amaze people all the world.
Joelison Fernandes da Silva was born with gigantism. Gigantism is an endocrine disorder resulting from long-term secretion of too much growth hormone, which accelerates the growth of muscle, bones.
Joelison needed to live a normal life. He did a surgery on his pituitary gland at age 21 which helped slow his growth.
Joelison said he fell in love the first time he saw Evem.
