Jose mourinho called Southampton's goalkeeper coach Andrew Sparkes an idi*t during Tottenham's painful 1-0 loss at St. Mary.

Mourinho was shown a yellow card for the off-the-pitch incident as he went into the Saints bench to air his frustration

"I think the yellow card is fair because I was rude, but I was rude to an idi*t," said mourinho

"For some reason I was rude. But I was, and because I was rude I deserve the yellow card. Basically, I had bad words with the guy."
