In almost every part of the world, the standard custom is for a married woman to take her husband's last name as her own after marriage. However, there are few places where tradition demands that the roles are reversed.
In some cases, it is because the woman is a popular figure in society and in others it is purely for love. Like the case of the groom, Sean Michael Mseidor.
On his wedding day in September 2018, Sean Michael Mseidor became Sean Michael Wellington
According to Twitter user @diaryof9jagirl, Sean Michael decided to take the name Wellington to help his wife continue her family name through their children. The wife Simeone, was born into a family of girls, which meant all siblings would take the names of their husbands.
