Are malt and milk the sources of blood?

I read a tweet from @aproko_doctor on Twitter.

It reads;

@aproko_doctor wrote:

I remember a conversation with my mother when I saw her drinking Malt and Milk. Mummy, hope you're not taking this for blood, because it won't give you blood. "Gwa onye ozo, Ife a bu blood tonic" in other words "Tell another person, this is blood tonic" This disrespect

Malt and Milk will just make you fat, it will not give you blood. For your body to make blood, it needs mainly Iron, folic acid and Vitamin B. Your favourite milk and malt do not contain these in enough amounts to help you boost blood. So why are you wasting your money?

But there's general belief that malt and milk are good sources of blood even some experts confirmed it... But I am just knowing this now.

WHICH ONE TO BELIEVE?
