The Leatherback Turtle
This mighty leatherback turtle was captured by workers under theSEEFOR road construction project in Foropa kingdom.
The sea animal was nabbed by the workers aftertheir day at work in the kingdom situated in Bayelsa state.
The unlucky animal was captured with a large net after which life was snuffed out of it. The workers rejoiced aloud as they prepared to make a sumptous meal out of it.
Many Nigerians have frowned at the killing of the endanger animal as they feel it should have been spared like it's done abroad.
