SunSport however reports that WWE owner Vince McMahon has confirmed the star will be returning to the company's flagship show next week

The billionaire tweeted:

Meanwhile, wrestling fans are up for exciting times as "The Guy" with the star due to appear on Good Morning America on Tuesday live from Times Square.

Reigns, whose real name is Joe Anoa' l, has not been on the WWE TV show since his discovered the illness five months back

Reigns was diagnosed with cancer at the tender age of 22 years.
