Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), says he looks forward to a successful transition after he finished casting his vote.
It was gathered that when asked what his reaction would be after the polls, he said: "I look forward to a successful transition. That is what I look forward to."
The former vice president further expressed satisfaction with the voters turn-out and hoped that officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) would be able to cope with the numbers.
He said: "So far so good, I am impressed with the turnout of people. I hope the electoral officials will be able to cope with the turnout."
Atiku when asked if he would accept the results of the elections, said: "I'm a democrat."
He urged people to go out and cast their votes, if they hadn't already done so.
