Election in Bonny LGA in Rivers State was rescheduled for a later date after voting reportedly failed to take off in the morning as expected.

The commission's spokesperson in Rivers State, Edun Enabo, who confirmed the development said the commission will pick a new date for the election in the LGA, Premium Times reports

Some ballot boxes at the polling unit 18 located at Junction of Ohafia/Ago Palace Way, Okota in Oshodi/Isolo LGA of Lagos State have been set on fire

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondent who witnessed theincident reports that polling unit 23 located on Baba-Ewe street/Ago Palace was also affected by the fire

President Buhari has defeated Atiku Abubakar in his polling unit by securing 186 votes

Also in the polling unit of former president Olusegun Obasanjo, Buhari leads the votes. All Progressives Congress (APC) secured 87 votes while Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got just 18 votes
