Ekiti State
The returning officer for the Ekiti state, Professor Idowu Olayinka, vice chancellor of the University of Ibadan announced that Buhari of the All Progressive Congress (APC) polled 219,231 votes, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored 154,032 votes

Osun State
Professor Toyin Ogundipe, the state collation officer announced that Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scored 347,634 votes and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got 337,377 votes
