Luis Suarez is now a serious doubt for Barcelona's first leg of their Champions League quarter finals clash against Manchester United

The Catalan side revealed that the star forward suffered a sprained ankle in the club's 4-1 victory over Real Betis on Sunday evening, March 17

In a tweet posted on Barcelona's official account, the club disclosed Suarez will undergo further tests to reveal the extent of the injury

"Luis Suarez has sprained his right ankle. Tests tomorrow will determine the exact extent of the injury," the tweet said

The La Liga giant will travel to Old Trafford on April 10 for the first leg of the last eight before welcoming United at Camp Nou a week later for the second leg
