Chelsea is now in third place of English Premier League table with 71 points after defeated Watford 3-0 in a tough Premier League clash played at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, May 5.

Goals from Loftus-Cheek, David Luiz and Gonzalo Higuian were the difference, with the victory cementing the Blues' impressive home record over the Hornets.

The first half of the encounter ended in a barren draw, with both sides squandering goal scoring chances in the opening exchanges.

Loftus-Cheek scored with a powerful header three minutes after the break. Luiz doubled the lead in the 51st minute. Gonzalo Higuian ended his goal drought in the 75th minute to make it 3-0.

man utd will come back stronger next season, i think we need to overhaul the squad to be able to challenge for the titles
