Cardiff Met University FC have qualified for the EuropaLeague next season after a thrilling playoff shoot-outwin over Bala Town.

The Welsh side have players made up of students pursuing PHD and master degrees in courses including - sports psychology, sports coaching, performance analysis and a host of other subjects.

The South Wales outfit lost their last two playoff finals before their victory over Bala Town. They also recorded a semi final win against Caernarfon Town.

Goalkeeper Will Fuller was the hero in the match after saving three penalties in the shoot outs following penalties in a 1-1 scoreline during regulation time.

Then Ellot Evans scored the deciding spot-kick and sparked some incredible celebrations among his teammates.
