Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola also known as Naira Marley, has finally been granted bail after spending 10 days in prison custody.
The singer was granted bail in the sum of N2 million with landed properties in Lagos as sureties.
According to the Guardian, the presiding judge of the Federal High Court sitting, Justice Nicholas Onweibo, said that the first surety must be a civil servant not below the grade 10 level while the second surety must have a landed property in a jurisdiction approved by the court.
This was done during Marley's second court hearing on May 30, 2019. The court hearing was also adjourned till October 22, 23 and 24 after the court's annual vacation.
Though the Issa Goal singer has been granted bail, he is to remain in prison till he meets his bail conditions.
