Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has gone spiritual, thanking Jesus following his victory in deputy Senate presidency election.
Omo-Agege of the All Progressives Congress (APC) defeated Ike Ekweremadu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the election that took place on Tuesday, June 11.
Following his victory in the election, Omo-Agege through his social media page wrote: "Hail my Jesus"
This tweet generated reactions from Nigerians with many asking the lawmaker not to call the name of Jesus in vain. They claimed that he was allegedly responsible for the mace theft during the 8th Senate.
Others howevercongratulated Omo-Agege and wished him well.
