The Nigerian Army on Sunday, June 30, through its spokesman, Sagir Musa, said soldiers were at the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) in Abuja for the purpose of worship.
According to Premium Times, Musa revealed that the military had an inter-denominational service in which soldiers were expected to participate.
Not less than four soldiers were seen carrying out cordon activities at the protest that was sparked off by sexual assault allegation by Busola Dakolo against the head pastor of COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo.
The protest was said to have been organised and largely by women all over the country especially in Abuja.
