The police commandin Lagos has said any RevolutionNow protester apprehended while attempting to cause a breakdown of law and order in the state will be treated like an armed robber.

RevolutionNow protests were convened by the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) and publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore

The police urged parents and guardians to warn their wards against the protests.

It was recalled that Sowore was on Saturday, August 3 arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) for allegedly trying to forcefully change a democratically-elected government.

The police in Lagos have apprehended participants of the protest in the state.

The Lagos state police spokesman, Bala Elkana, said the RevolutionNow group has caused tension and apprehension
