Two road projects constructed by the Katsina state government were commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, August 15, despite the light rainfall.
According to Daily Trust, during the event, the president said he would query, the inspector general of police, Mohammed Adamu, as to why he failed to provide raincoats for policemen present.
The president then reportedly asked the must senior police officer at the venue, an AIG, "Why did you leave your men in rain, without raincoats?"
The AIG is said to have stayed silent, and the president then stated that he would raise the issue with the IGP.
