Former Barcelona and Spain manager Luis Enrique has taken to social media to announce the shocking and untimely death of his 9-year-old daughter, Xana.

According to the message shared by the 49-year-old professional coach, Xana has been battling with bone cancer for the past five months before she died on Thursday evening, August 29.

It was even after Xana was diagnosed of the life threatening disease that made Luis Enrique to step down as the coach of Spain in June.

But Luis Enrique who celebrated the Copa del Rey title in 2016 with his daughter is now bereave as he lost precious one.
