A lady identified as Mz_Iswat recently took to micro messaging platform Twitter, with a narration of a funny encounter that took place it has place of resident in Ebute-Meta, Lagos.

According to her, some thieves were able to steal from her father's car, despite the fact that their house was situated just by the side of a police station.

Initially she wanted to blame the police but she had to put the blame on a hold after it was discovered that the thieves also broke into the station and carted away with a TV set.

She tweeted;
"My dad's house is right beside a police station at ebute meta and his car got broken into. I know you want to blame the police, I did too but then the thieves also broke into the police station and stole their television"
