Premier League champions Manchester City have emerged as the most expensive squad in world football after the Citizens spent £909m to gather their players.
According to the report on UK Mirror citing CIES Football Observation, they came up with the list after going through the four biggest leagues in European Football.
They went through the Premier Leagues, Spanish La Liga, Serie A in Italy, German Bundesliga and the French League 1 before coming out with the list.
Interestingly, five Premier League clubs made their way into the top 10 which shows that English topflight clubs have spent big.
